About Hellenne Vermillion Silk Artist
I am an artist who paints with acid dyes on silk fabric, which are then steam set for permanency.
I was born in Japan and lived there for 18 years. Thus my work reflects this part of my heritage although I've lived in the States for much longer.
The theme of my work usually shows movement or have elements of Asian design and added to that are influences from ethnic and African arts.
