Silk "jar" with lid

This silk "jar" was hand dyed with corn syrup and wax resist. The base is made of foam coare wrapped completely in silk with silk piping on the edges.

Phoenix in Silk

The Phoenix piece was dye painted first and heavily embroidered. It is mounted in a frame.
